"I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundandtly."

Women's Ministries meets the 2nd Monday of each month of 2:00 p.m.
Our next meeting will be on Monday May 12 at 2:00 p.m. in the church basement
We rolled 33 bandages at our April meeting.
We served a Spring Celebration at the Butte Health Care on April 18th 2 p.m. with songs and topped off with cake & icecream.
We had an exciting day on March 10th. Due furnace issues at the church we met at The Bunkhouse. We recycled greeting cards and made 42 new cards.
We also had a "Special" guest speaker on being a blessing giver. What a blessing she is to us! I added some new pictures for you to enjoy.
Women Ministries Sunday was on February 17th. Marion & Connie spoke on the activities Women Ministries are involved in.
Our new missionaries that we support are Ellen Haworth & family in Japan and Caroline Peterson retired from Japan and living in Washington. We continue to support Karen Benson in the Congo. We donate for birthday, Christmas and other for these missionaries. We have also rolled and sent 222 bandages and made 11 layettes to be used in the Congo.
Other activities participated in by our Women's Ministries include: sponsoring luminaries for Lorraine & Diane at Holt Countie Relay for life, donating to Butte Health care for patient Christmas gifts, visiting in the nursing home or the sick, serving the April Birthday party at the Butte Health Care Center, making tea decorations, helping serve the annual Christmas tea, donating to the Covenant Cedars camp, purchasing a brick at Covenant Cedars, donating baskets to retreat & annual meetings, buying kitchen supplies, baking for Sunday School and much more. Just look around the church building and you can see the handy work of the ladies of the Church. 44 cards were sent to friends and member of the church by Vera.
Just like the Covenant Women Ministry is unique, as it is financially separate from the Covenant church, our Women's Ministry is unique in its own way. We are two groups yet one.
There is the group that meets once a month on the 2nd Wednesday of each month; we do the basic business, bandage rolling, and Bible Study.
The 2nd group of women are not able to attend the meetings, but donate time, finances, decorating, planning and teaching skills.
We quickly become one group to organize Christmas partis, Summer Sizzlers, Christmas Tea, fellowship dinners, serving dinners and interior decorations.
I just want to say THANK YOU to all the Women of the Church!
You are appreciated!
